I have designed a new logo for the gas masked man line. This is done with paint pens on a book cover(also painted).

Superman Ambigram

Ambigrams read as on thing when viewed a certain way, and say something else when viewed from another. These are some sketches I have been working off and on for a little while now. The pencil and ink was obviously earlier, but I still class the vector illustration as a sketch. The final versions of this image I hope to have done by hand, and depending upon how I feel about it (and money) I might get it tattooed across my chest. It reads 'Art Immortal' one way, and in the mirror it will read 'Death Eternal'.

The second design here is reflective of my more current interest in hand painted signs and lettering. However i may work some of the formerly intended ornamentation back into it.

Sketch book cover - hand lettering.

This cover was done at the beginning of my journey into hand lettering. Hand lettering, I have found requires not just knowing your ABC'S and cursive, but how to handle your brush, a huge awareness of fonts, the effect you are after, and texture/ornamentations. An ever learning field that I hope to find some success in.

Wall Animals for kids

Another customer has come along with the project of animals for their walls. This time it is a nursery in their home, and the animals are farm animals. Here is one of the images. Enjoy/

Photography of hand lettering

In my recent interest of hand lettering, I have found some very nice images consisting of photographs of the artist lettering work. The effect was quite nice. Here are a few images of me doing the same. Or attempting anyways. I am using the camera in my phone, so inconsistent degrees of success are expected.
