A Study of HellRaiser's PinHead

This is a study and design for Pinhead, from Hellraiser, and for how I was going to depict him within my assignment.

This one is the final style I settled upon.

This one too. As for representing the actor accurately in a consistant manner I felt was outside of my ability at the time..

HellRaiser Comic book Sketches

In school we had an assignment to do up a short section of comic book based upon whatever story we like. so I let me passions fly and followed the movie series Hellraiser in study. I'm not sure I can sy I did well on the assignment as for final items. but my sketchbooks sure held a few gems along the way. here are some bits and bobs.

A Study and Redesign of on of Hellraiser's Cenobites

This Character started as the fat guy in the first 2 movies.

The fact that the had his eves sewn shut should have been a good enough start for this character. I felt that making him fat, just made him non threatening. So I made him the torturer. a bag of tools slunk over his shoulder. Yes I think one of those night be a golf club.

This on came off of the cover of my Robert Bateman Sketchbook.
Good Sketchbooks, but the buggers are damn expensive.

A Study of HellRaiser's Chompy Cenobite

A Cenobite like this one is in the First 2 movies, but looks a little different. and in some later films he is more of a dog in form. His most prominent appearance is in Hellraiser: Hellseeker. I think it's the 6th Film. and because of this little guy, one of my favorites. It definitely is not what you are expecting after seeing the first 2 or 3, but has as more concrete view of what the films potential, and what the series can build upon.
